A sorpresa, Apple ha aggiornato il MacBook Air, aggiungendo la tecnologia True Tone al display Retina, e ha ridotto il prezzo a €1.279. Inoltre, il modello base di MacBook Pro 13" da €1.549 ha ora i più recenti processori quad-core di ottava generazione, che lo rendono due volte più potente di prima. Ha anche la Touch Bar e il Touch ID, il display Retina con True Tone e il chip Apple T2 Security- Entrambi sono disponibili a prezzi scontati per gli studenti universitari.
La novitò che Apple non ha comunicato, ma che si scopre osservando il sito dell'azienda, è che da oggi è scomparso dal catalogo il MacBook da 12 pollici, introdotto nel 2015 e dismesso dopo tre generazioni. Ecco cosa scrivemmo del primo modello:

Venice cruise ship nearly crashes into yacht during storm - La StampaA cruise ship nearly crashed into a yacht on Sunday as it was passing the Venice canal amid stormy weather. The Deliziosa–the 12-deck cruise ship owned by the company Costa Crociere–was leaving Venice port when it was caught in gusts of strong winds and hail, and tugboats struggled to pull it away from the yacht. There was panic among the cruise ship passengers at sea, while those on shore feared that a similar collision would occur like it did on June 2, after a massive cruise ship crashed into small riverboat in the Giudecca Canal, wounding five. In the nick of time, the port pilot and the three tugs the vessel was tied to managed to get the ship back on track, scraping a yacht moored on the shore of Sette Martiri and other vessels of the public transport service, but managed to avoid the accident.A witness: “We saw her coming almost on top of us'As they saw the prow of the Deliziosa dangerously approach their vessel, crew members of the Elysia yacht, a 50-meter vessel with a flag from Cape Town, jumped off the boat’s ladder and onto the pier. They took refuge in the guard post of the yacht’s private security.«We saw her coming almost on top of us», one witness, Alberto Peratoner, a professor at the University of Padua said. «It was at the moment when the storm was at its most intense... [The ship] was having visible difficulty manoeuvring and was heading for the San Biagio dock, veering slightly towards the Sette Martiri dock. Right after the Costa Deliziosa sounded its long emergency horn, we saw the vessel’s lights in the darkness».
