Detrazione spese universitarie nel 730 del 2021, quali sono gli importi massimi

Per gli atenei statali si può detrarre il 19% senza limiti, mentre per quelli non statali un decreto del Miur pubblicato in Gazzetta Ufficiale ha stabilito le soglie da non superare in base all’area disciplinare del corso di studi e all’area geografica dell’università frequentata

Le spese per l’istruzione universitaria sostenute nel 2020 sono detraibili in misura pari al 19% dell’ammontare totale sostenuto. Con decreto del 30 dicembre 2020, pubblicato in Gazzetta Ufficiale lo scorso 22 febbraio, il Miur ha individuato i limiti delle tasse e dei contributi di iscrizione alle università non statali detraibili nel modello 730/2021 (redditi 2020)

Ma se per le università pubbliche la detrazione si applica senza limiti, per le università non statali italiane e straniere si deve tener conto di alcune soglie massime. Queste soglie vengono stabilite annualmente, appunto, da un decreto del Miur

Se lo studente frequenta un’università telematica per l’area geografica dovrà tenere conto della regione in cui ha sede legale l’ateneo on-line

Se invece il corso di studi si tiene in una regione diversa rispetto a quella in cui l’università ha sede legale, per la detrazione si dovrà far riferimento all’area geografica in cui si svolge effettivamente il corso

Se uno studente è iscritto contemporaneamente in università di diverse aree geografiche e a corsi di aree disciplinari differenti, dovrà far riferimento al limite massimo della detrazione fra quelli previsti dal decreto
