Bangladesh reported the second highest single day COVID 19 infection in the country on Thursday even as the government lowered the vaccination age to 25 years in the country. A total of 15,271 new Corona positive cases were detected on Thursday taking the total number of infected people to over 12.26 lakh. The number of active cases in the country was recorded to be 1.55 lakh. 239 people succumbed to COVID 19 in the last 24 hours on Thursday taking the death toll to 20,255.
