The show's final two episodes were aired on RTÉ One on Tuesday night and fans have shared very different opinions on the ending

The penultimate and final episodes aired last night and Twitter has been awash with differing opinions on whether or not the shows ending was a satisfying one.

Liz said: "I don’t want to be dramatic but I watched the normal people finale last night and am still in bed at 3pm today recovering from the emotional trauma"
