Ulster hit with suspended fine and point deduction over Ian Madigan documentation error

Ulster have been hit with a suspended fine and docked one point from their total for last season for playing Ian Madigan in two games last month before he received Union Clearance Confirmation.

The 30-year-old came on for 27 in Ulster's defeat to Connacht on August 23, and started in the game against former club Leinster six days later.
