Two pedestrians were injured in separate serious injury road traffic collisions in Dublin over the weekend.Shortly after 11pm on Saturday , a pedestrian was seriously injured when he was struck by a car on the Blessington road in Tallaght.The pedestrian, a 31-year-old man, was taken from the scene by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital, but his condition is not thought to be life threatening.

In a separate incident, a pedestrian and car were involved in a collision on Drimnagh Road, Dublin 12, shortly before 1.30am on Sunday night .
