Two men have died after they got into difficulty while diving in Portroe, Co Tipperary this afternoon

In a statement to TheJournal.ie this afternoon, a garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí attended an incident in Portroe, Co. Tipperary where two males have drowned.“The bodies of both men have been removed to Limerick University Hospital where a post-mortem is due to take place.
