Gardaí have said they are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the fire, which broke out in the Slievebloom Park area at around 1.45pm.
Emergency services brought the fire under control, and the bodies of two men, believed to be in their late 60s and early 70s, were discovered inside the house.The bodies of both men will be removed to the Dublin City Mortuary where post-mortem examinations will be conducted by the State Pathologist tomorrow.They have appealed for anyone with information to contact them at Sundrive Road Station on 01-666 6600 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
