Gardaí were called to the scene at the St Stephen's Green end of the street, between South Anne Street and Chatham Street, just after 4.30am.
Extensive damage was caused to the front of the building and gardaí are searching for those responsible for the criminal damage and burglary. No arrests have been made, but gardaí believe a car was rammed into the front of the shop and clothing was stolen.
