Not religious but I quite like the idea of a few moments of reflection before the start of they day.

The people voted for a left wing government so probably time to properly separate church and state.

Before psychology was, theology is. Prayers were positive affirmations in a pre-psychological age, before positive affirmations became secular prayers in a largely agnostic, atheistic or humanistic age. According to your faith is it done unto you.
