One of our favourite Christmas films is reportedly getting a sequel with all of the original cast returning.
Cameron Diaz is coming out of her acting retirement to join her co-stars Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Jack Black for a sequel to 'The Holiday', nearly two decades years after the original was released. The last we saw of the two leading couples, who ended up together after Cameron and Kate's characters swapped houses for the winter, Amanda, Iris, Graham and Miles all spent New Year's Eve together in a snowy UK. But what's happened to them all these years since?
Set for release around this time next year, which will be 17 years since the 2006 romantic comedy was released, the film will begin production in the new year. Details are few and far between at the moment, including whether writer and director Nancy Meyers will be back to helm the feature."The plan is to start rolling on scenes next year, primarily in the U.K. and in Europe, but the main talent are all signed up and on board.
