He said that there must now be an effort to remove a culture of misogynistic violence out of Irish society. The Taoiseach said that work was underway on a “major strategy” to deal with violence against women through domestic violence, sexual violence and gender based violence.
Our Mental health, judicial and prison systems need massive reforms. The political class are responsible this and they need to be reminded as such. If any change can be brought about that would have a drastic impact on all of our safety and quality of life it's this.
If Michael Martin says it'll happen, you can be sure it wont.. Weasel words because in reality sadly it can't be done. You can't regulate for random attacks..
Change the fucking law. Whole life sentences etc. Don’t care about the cost. Lock up the worst scumbags for life. We copy the British so much in the law but not at sentencing. Wtf is the problem?

Violence against women needs to stop whether physically, mentally or emotionally. Changes need to occur but from both sexes in my opinion. It's time for self respect to be implemented from both men & women. Decent clothing and manners need to be restored from all age cohorts.
