Status Yellow high temperature warning to take effect from 12pmYesterday saw the highest August temperature in almost 20 years recorded in Co Carlow. Yes yes. I am ready and pool filled to cool off Think that it always could be worse. Where I am it's been hot (over 30c + heatwaves) all along since mid May. Nights are horribly warm, not going under 22c at all. Many houses have awful insulation (none) or are just badly built, turning into ovens. We really are dumbing down as a society.
