Staff threatened with screwdrivers during armed pharmacy robbery in Dublin | JOE.ie

During the course of the incident, two men entered the premises while brandishing screwdrivers, which they used to threaten staff.

The two men later fled from the scene on foot after taking a sum of cash, a phone and some medication from the store. Conducting a follow-up operation, detectives from the Donnybrook district carried out a search and arrest procedure in the Clonskeagh area. Two men were arrested, both of whom are aged in their 40s.As of Sunday afternoon, both men have been detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Irishtown Garda Station.Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
