Spanish soldiers deployed to help fight the coronavirus outbreak have been finding elderly patients abandoned, and sometimes dead, at care homes.
Generally, a person needs to be 15 minutes or more in the vicinity of an infected person, within 1-2 metres, to be considered at-risk or a close contact. The improvised morgue would start to be used "in the coming hours," the regional government of Madrid said.

masi_asylum I’m confused, where were the care workers and management? Where is the duty of care? It sounds like they were just left to die. Gross negligence of the highest order regardless of what has been happening.
I’m glad that my brain could never understand how someone could walk out on some of the most vulnerable people in society. They deserved care, compassion and love until the end.
