Image: Sam Boal Image: Sam Boal SINN FÉIN LEADER Mary Lou McDonald has announced that the party will host a number of public rallies over the coming two weeks in a bid to “to bring the conversation about a government for change to the people”.
However, the numbers to do so will be very tight meaning she would likely need the support of either Fine Gael or Fianna Fáil – both of which have ruled out going into government with Sinn Féin. “The people voted for change on 8 February and Sinn Féin is determined to deliver on the desire of the people for a Government for Change,” she said.

Negotiation for Govt is not done at public rallies but round the table with other parties. It's easy to heat the political landscape with Trumpian rhetoric in echo chambers. This creates hatred & unrest but not workable Govt. Are SF planning failure now& actually electioneering?
What f is going on? SF are a tiny minority party holding less than 1/4 of the seats in the Dail. W for 1 didn’t vote for them. Where the hell are the ones I did vote for?
So there you have it, bully, gun or megaphone if they don’t get what they want by legal process. The IRA are not back, they never went away.
