RTE's Ryan Tubridy has revealed his embarrassment when he forgot his credit card to pay for his shopping at Supervalu.
He told listeners to his RTE Radio One show on Wednesday morning: "I was standing with a lovely sized trolley, everything was done and I realised I didn't have my card."To add funds you need card details, which I didn't have and couldn't remember."You're watching all the ones you thought you'd successfully overtaken in the queue whizzing by.Tubridy was grateful that staff were so understanding of him causing a delay for others in the store.
"The guy at the counter was so patient and the man behind me whose day I wrecked was manners personified."I got home and made a cup of tea and ate chocolate." Speaking during a Q&A on Instagram, Ryan revealed: “The worst Christmas present? It was well intended, it was from an organisation, they gave me a framed photo of myself.The RTE Radio One host also said you could “torture” him, but he will never reveal the Late Late Toy Show theme.He said: “I’m never going to tell you. You can ask and ask. You can torture me in this chair. You can bring me to the worst prisons.
