Manchester City have learnt lessons from their previous Champions League failures, Rio Ferdinand has warned.

And Manchester United legend Ferdinand believes those two games - which took place nearly six months apart due to the coronavirus pandemic - showed how far City have come in terms of managing big games. “You’ve got to use the experience you’ve got, sometimes take your foot off the pedal and take the sting out of a game and they’ve not done that.
