Bloody Sunday occurred in the Bogside area of Derry on 30 January 1972 when British soldiers shot 26 unarmed civilians during a protest march against internment without trial. Fourteen people died: 13 were killed outright and another man died four months later from his injuries. “She has taken new decisions in respect of each review request and concluded that the Test for Prosecution is not met on evidential grounds to prosecute any of the 15 soldiers in connection with the specific deaths or injuries sustained on 30th January 1972.

Given the importance of these decisions to all affected by them and the extensive public interest in the events of Bloody Sunday, the deep disappointment felt by many families at that time was wholly understandable. “This was despite assurances received from the PPS that its decision-making had been conducted in an independent, fair and impartial manner.

One way or another a British Court was never going to convict one of their own thugs in uniform.

Shameful

*Just following orders *?

Never saw that coming

Aren’t we supposed to be all buddies with the Brits now? According to brexit supporters we are. But Just look at how much support solider F got. The soldiers they’re so proud of can murder innocent people and they’ll backed to the last by British government and people alike

Billshit! Those poor families, still no closure. Its an absolute fucking disgrace.

Disgraceful, both then and now.

No surprise. An absolute disgrace

Hardly a surprise is it brits shooting young girls in the back walking to church dont get charged in this place kids get burnt in their beds because the orange order cant get marching through catholic areas nothing is a shock to nationalists anymore

What a surprise.

Harris must be delighted.

Shameful colonialism

Shall we pretend we are surprised?

Innocent people butchered on the streets decades ago and the British still can’t fully acknowledge their crimes. Irish Catholics still viewed as second class unfortunately.

Good ol' Northern Ireland politicians. The Brits could come over and shit in their mouths and they'd declare it National Delicious Mouth Shit day.
