How much are the billionaires getting for this?

The comments are appalling.

That's all great and all, but my mother, 86, dimensia for several years, hasn't stayed in hosp since Aug 1989 when she identified dad's remains yet contribes approx €2k annually into VHI, waiting years for home help, no idea what's going on, but you're all welcome, I suppose 👍

So I paid private health insurance for decades and people who don’t pay into the private system, and possibly not even the public system, will get a ventilator before me - the private ventilator in the private hospital I paid into and they didn’t?

No way I'm sharing a private ward with Johnny Finglas after paying my own health insurance fees..

So many me, me, me selfish gobshites in the replies. A lot of people work long and hard hours but still can't afford private health insurance. Are their lives or their kids lives worth less because they don't throw a few grand at the VHI every year

lindawaters_t At what price?

Can u ask Health insurers what will they do as they can’t provide service. Lot of household money goes 2 health insurance. Consumer deserves 2 know. Premium pause needed with premium freeze for 12 months 2 avoid passing later increase. FergalBowers SimonHarrisTD CWeston_Indo

It's astonishing that people actually believe that because they have money, something that can be taken in an instant, makes their life more important than someone less fortunate. Priority beds, my vhi, my money, me me me, spongers die die die. Sickos that's wat you are. 🤮 🤮

Looking forward to the VHI refund

Then we should not be charged our premiums for the duration!!!

Perhaps people who are due to renew their private health insurance, should ask what they are now paying for....

It took a pandemic for us to get a single tier health system. Can we keep it?

What an honour, u wee rat

Santry sports be ideal for Beaumont

So all private health care providers will go bust in Ireland as everyone stops paying premiums?

keep it that way!

Great to see our facilities fully utilised
