A pop-up Covid-19 testing centre has been set up in Co Kildare as part of the response to outbreaks of the virus in the region, while another pop-up centre is due to open in Co Laois.

Richard Quinlan, Chief Ambulance Officer for North Leinster, said patients of all ages have been coming in to be swabbed.
