The problem is we only ever consider 🇦🇺🇨🇦🇳🇿🇬🇧 & maybe 🇺🇲 as options because we are utter failures at learning foreign languages. Plenty of wonderful places just a stone's throw in the 🇪🇺 if we could just figure out how to open a book.

People have always left Ireland, great experience.
People were leaving 2 years ago and they were in their 40s. Older people are leaving now too cause contray to belief there are some of us who cant at 40 get on the property ladder either. 🙈

Ireland isn’t expensive as SF Bay Area where a single family home is in the $2 million range petrol is is $5.60 a gallon and food is way more expensive. Just got back from a wedding this summer in Ireland couldn’t believe how cheap everything was compared to here in California.
We're constantly being told that it's worse in other countries but I've known a few who have left for other countries and even Canada and still say its better than here. So which is it? Are we actually worse than Canada. Are others lying?

We wouldn't be in this position if the Irish youth took an interest in the benefit of their country instead of running away, by ripping out this govt and setting a new election in the works, how can things change for anyone if people do nothing!!!

Really loved living in Ireland. 5 years in Galway and the last 3 1/2 years in Dublin. But with remote work and flexibility when relocating some other EU countries are just much more financially attractive. Cost of living is just not worth what you get out of it anymore :(
