Cancer surgeries drop 30% due to impact of Covid-19 pandemicA new report highlights the dramatic impact the pandemic had on people’s lives, with a reduction of more than one year in life expectancy in the EU in 2021 compared to pre-Covid levels, the biggest fall in life expectancy seen since the second World War The pandemic didn't do that. Lockdowns did. That was policy, not a natural phenomenon. I hope all the pro lockdown nutters are happy. This is on them. This article needs to be edited! Replace the word ‘pandemic’ with ‘lockdown’ ! Yourselves and other newspapers along with other sources of media failed to question or investigate the damage lockdowns would do to peoples health and mental well-being. Shame on you all collectively.
