Levi Blackshaw was allegedly left in the playground of StanleySchoolin Pensby,Wirral, for 30 minutes with staff sat watching from a classroom

A mother has claimed that her little boy with Down's Syndrome was left outside school naked, soaking wet and "crying like a baby."

Ms Maxwell, who allegedly asked for Levi to be taken outside, was reportedly investigated over the incident but was allowed to return to the school. "It was awful. What's really hard is how can you prove how Levi was affected? He is non-verbal, he is not like us. The deputy head allegedly asked other staff to place Levi outside with just a towel round his shoulders.

Ms Maxwell, head teacher Anthony Roberts, and assistant head teacher Helen Clements have been suspended, although the suspension is not an indication they are guilty of any misconduct but is an opportunity for the issues to be fully investigated.
