Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have responded to Donald Trump's tweets saying the US will not pay for the couple's security.
But the couple hit back, saying they don't expect the US to pay and their security will be "privately funded"."It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada. They said: "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have no plans to ask the U.S. government for security resources. When Meghan and Harry announced their plans to quit as senior royals, a decision which reportedly caused a lot of upset and anger behind Palace walls, they said they hoped to become "financially independent".
"This is based on The Duke’s public profile by virtue of being born into The Royal Family, his military service, the Duchess’ own independent profile, and the shared threat and risk level documented specifically over the last few years. No further details can be shared as this is classified information for safety reasons."
we don't need their 'response' we don't care. he only speaks for federal not local. it will cost them a boat load. they say they never asked- well SOMEONE DID- THEY just want to be able to say they didn't. haters gonna hate- and meghan hates Trump.
