Right in saying that not a single man has been touched, nothing has changed in society only gone back 20 years. Ghislaine Maxwell prosecutors seek up to 55-year sentence for sex traffickingMaxwell was found guilty six months ago of luring teenage girls into Jeffrey Epstein’s orbit for him to abuse A little excessive seeing as our governments get away freely with people trafficking on a daily basis It's a bit calling the kettle black as we are aware of the paedophile culture in the judiciary system. She not going to live 55 more years, perhaps she can be useful, plenty contacts through darling daddy Maxwell
🎉 Unless the rapists are named, I call your reporting inconsequential bullshit. PussCatWillum So, she has now apologised to the victims. Thought there weren't any... No plea bargain,I wonder who advised her against it Pathetic sentence. Total lip service. She'll be out in less than 5. Gives the sensationalism of the story time to die down. The client list will be buried. For her silence she'll be given the easiest time a socialite can do. And the elitist scum go marching on
She'll be dead in her cell before the weekend Trafficking young girls to his island where the rich and famous have visited on many occasions including Bono and Bill Gates 😬 Should’ve been 120 years Maxwells new coffee served best in a tin cup Now get her clients, you can't traffic children to nobody.

Meanwhile Prince Andrew walks away Scot free… 🤦♂️
Quite lenient. Good. Now do their “clients”. Wait till the roll out the brother again on how she’s been mistreated. Shame the RA never got her in the 70’s when they had her top her list and her old man. Horrible scumbag, destroyed so many lives and 20 years is all she gets Best news ever 👏👏👏👏 So who were her customers? Doubt it was just Epstein and Prince Andrew?
Got what she deserved should have been more time

The sentencing judge earlier permitted four women to speak at her sentencing hearing, as well as allowing the statement of Virginia Giuffre to be read by her lawyer in her absence. Maxwell was convicted in December last year of luring young girls to massage rooms to be molested by Jeffrey Epstein between 1994 and 2004. He says his condition has left him in agony for years - and his family support his decision to end his life. Ahead of her sentencing hearing today, she arrived with shackles around her ankles which rattled as she made her way to her seat in the courtroom in the Southern District of New York. Some of Maxwell’s victims are expected to make statements at her sentencing. Wearing a prison-issued uniform, she spoke only to confirm she had read the pre-sentence report and discussed it with her legal team, saying:"I did have the opportunity to read it. Around 600 friends and family attended a heartbreaking 'goodbye' BBQ for the young man." Maxwell was labelled"dangerous" by the prosecution during her three-week trial last year, and helped entice vulnerable teenagers to the disgraced financier's various properties for him to sexually abuse. A final decision will be handed down this afternoon by U.
Victims Sarah Ransome, Elizabeth Stein, Annie Farmer and the accuser known as"Kate" were all present in the courtroom, as well as controversial juror Scotty David - who prompted calls from Maxwell's counsel for a retrial after he failed to disclose he was a victim of sexual abuse. In June 2016, the Parliament of Canada passed federal legislation that allows eligible Canadian adults to request medical assistance in dying. He killed himself in a New York City federal jail, while waiting for trial. Maxwell was convicted in December last year of sex trafficking minors, conspiracy to entice a minor to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, and conspiracy to transport a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity. She was also found guilty of transporting a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of minors. "I'm on many meds just to be comfortable for a few hours. Maxwell's defence attorneys sought a delay to sentencing proceedings through a motion filed on Saturday, in which they said she had been placed on"suicide watch" and was"not permitted to possess and review legal documents". “Ms Maxwell cannot and should not bear all the punishment for which Epstein should have been held responsible. In their sentencing submissions, prosecutors urged Judge Nathan to impose a sentence of between 30 and 55 years for Maxwell's crimes. Eric says he will ultimately decide when to officially end his life - and where he does it. According to this report, he pleaded guilty to lesser state prostitution charges.
Before the hearing broke for lunch, Judge Alison Nathan said she still intended to impose a fine on the defendant after the court heard that Jeffrey Epstein left her a 10 million dollar bequest. Throughout the trial, the court heard how she imposed a"culture of silence. He said last month: "I can go when I'm ready, it's not when I'm sick, it's not when they pull my meds or anything, it's when I'm ready. “Ms Maxwell is not a dangerous criminal or a habitual offender... I kind of ghosted my family because I wasn't in a good place. by design" at Epstein's properties, where staff were told to"see nothing, hear nothing and say nothing". “She had a difficult, traumatic childhood with an overbearing, narcissistic and demanding father,” her lawyers also said. He claimed he was attacked by his cellmate and was taken off suicide watch less than a week later.
Judge Nathan said she agreed Maxwell had told staff at Epstein's Palm Beach residence in Florida to be"blind, deaf and dumb. It was hard to tell everyone else." The judge also said Maxwell's prison sentence would be enhanced due to her"supervisory role in extensive criminal activity". Throughout the morning session of her sentencing hearing, the defendant frequently played with her hair and adjusted her mask. A Facebook page called Eric's Army is filled with love-filled messages and posts from friends, family and strangers hearing about his story.” In their sentencing paperwork, prosecutors condemned leniency efforts. Maxwell took sips from her Fiji water, which was delivered to her by her sister Isabel before the hearing began. Epstein was found dead in his cell at a federal jail in Manhattan in August 2019 while he awaited trial on sex trafficking charges." In Canada, to be considered eligible for assisted dying, a person must be over 18 and have a "serious and incurable illness, disease or disability". Maxwell pleaded not guilty and went as far as to say she "vigorously" denied the charges.
The death was ruled a suicide. Her crimes demand justice,” they argued. During her high-profile trial late last year, prosecutors successfully proved Maxwell was"the key" to Epstein's scheme of enticing young girls to give him massages, during which he would sexually abuse them. Two of Epstein's victims, identified as"Jane" and"Carolyn," testified that they were as young as 14 when Maxwell began grooming them. Maxwell's lawyers say their client had"a difficult, traumatic childhood with an overbearing, narcissistic, and demanding father". “She was a calculating, sophisticated, and dangerous criminal who preyed on vulnerable young girls and groomed them for sexual abuse. "It made her vulnerable to Epstein, whom she met right after her father's death," they wrote in submissions filed earlier this month. The tapes showed Maxwell denying that she ever saw Epstein have sex with underage girls or helped him arrange illicit sexual encounters.
Money manager Epstein killed himself in prison 2019 aged 66 while awaiting his own sex crimes trial in New York. "Ms Maxwell cannot and should not bear all the punishment for which Epstein should have been held responsible," her attorneys pleaded.” While probation authorities, and lawyers on both sides make sentencing recommendations, the decision will ultimately rest with Judge Alison Nathan. The prosecution contended in its own court filing last week that Maxwell"was an adult who made her own choices". In February, Prince Andrew settled a sexual abuse lawsuit with Virginia Giuffre, who said she had been trafficked to the royal by Epstein and Maxwell. In April, Judge Nathan rejected a request by Maxwell for a new trial. She requested this on the grounds that - in her opinion - she should be immune to prosecution under the 2007 agreement Epstein made with prosecutors.
She unsuccessfully argued that a juror, who had boasted of helping convince fellow panellists to convict Maxwell by recalling his own experiences as a sex abuse victim, had biased the jury. .
