The proportion of people who believe the Government could do more to help the property sector during Covid-19 was relatively high at 69%. If Ireland enjoys a v-shaped recovery from the crisis – a rapid decline and a bounce back – house prices could return to the level they are now by the end of next year. When asked what factors would encourage them to buy a property now, 35% of respondents said more available housing stock, 33% said more overall confidence in the economy, and 33% also said an easing of mortgage lending rules.
Keegan said it was “crucial” that construction is allowed to continue without interruption, “as it is clear that supply issues are still a significant concern for people”.
10%? And then some... Dublin prices to plummet with more flexibility and WFH being introduced why would anyone buy in city.
Articles out trying to shore up property prices eh? Jesus it must be real bad so.
