The largest collection of US labor unions has endorsed Joe Biden for the White House, saying President Donald Trump let workers down and has been "delinquent" in his coronavirus response.
The endorsement is not just an expression of support for Biden, whom Trumka described as a man of his word and a champion for health care, living wages, civil rights and the ability to form and join a union."Donald Trump campaigned as a friend of workers" and managed to draw votes from working-class Americans "desperate for a departure from business as usual," Trumka added.
"That's our choice this year, between Donald Trump's pettiness and negativity and Joe Biden who is the embodiment of goodness and decency."Twitter, meanwhile, has placed a notification fact-checking tweets sent by President Trump claiming that mail-in ballots will be "substantially fraudulent" and result in a "rigged election."

My husband is a member of one of these unions and they emailed today saying that this is not an endorsement from them. They will be reviewing the health and economic situation and they havent decided. So this endorsement today does not mean all of the collection gave it.
