French President Emmanuel Macron has urged the United States, China and other non-European rich nations ahead of COP27 talks to pay their fair share to help poorer countries deal with climate change

"We need the United States and China to step up" on emissions cuts and financial aid, Mr Macron told French and African climate campaigners on the sidelines of the UN climate summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt."Pressure must be put on rich non-European countries, telling them, 'you have to pay your fair share'," he said.

Nearly 100 heads of state and government will speak at the summit today and tomorrow, but China's President Xi Jinping is not attending the conference and US President Joe Biden will come later this week following Tuesday's US midterm elections. "The fear is other priorities take precedence," top United Nations climate change official Simon Stiell told a news conference.

But current trends would see carbon pollution increase 10% by the end of the decade and Earth's surface heat up 2.8C, according to findings unveiled in recent days. Pakistan, which chairs the powerful G77+China negotiating bloc of more than 130 developing nations, has made the"loss and damage" issue a priority.

The governments in these third world countries as I’m sure we all know cannot be trusted with casts sums of money. The best thing the EU and places like the UK can do is send trades people in to install a proper functional water system. And build proper infrastructure,

More lies peddled by the WEF and their acolytes in the msm utterly abhorrent

Macron did not react well when told to pay his fair share for European security by President Trump.

Oh look. Money laundering. Or do none of you actually ever look into the stuff you are talking about? Oh...Ofcourse you don't. Ofcourse you don't. It fits your narrative.

Pay pay pay. It's just about money

Scientifically any climate measure imposed by FFG on Irish people will have zero effect on storms, won't prevent a single raindrop nor alter temperatures +/- But it will cause poverty and make Irish life miserable. All so FFG impress EU masters in France and Germany! LeaveEU

I think getting rid of the French colonial tax would help the poorer countries better.

It would help If France stoped invading poor countries. Only last week mali had to kick France out for trying to remove the goverment to control resources

Historically US China Russia and Brazil are to blame

The sacrifices European leaders are making in order to save the planet.A week in a luxurious holiday resort with all expenses paid.Yet there are some unconvinced of the urgency of the problem, unappreciative of the sterling work Eamon Ryan is doing to save the planet. What a guy😂

How much does it cost to change the weather Macron?

No thanks

This from a leader of one of the top European military countries that renagued on paying its fair share for the hundreds of $Billions America provided down the decades toward protecting Europe - until Trump put his foot down.

People are tired of these hoaxes. Fork the NWO and WEF you little tyrant.

US Southern Border never mentioned by most of US media.....Will be an issue in states like Arizona.... A republican onslaught incoming. 😃 I love how they say that democracy is on the line!! If this country keeps going on this path there’s going to be none left!! Biden and co have done more damage then any of the last presidents did combined.
