Lotto players urged to check tickets after €245,000 prize won in Irish county

Lotto players in Sligo have been urged to check their tickets after a Lotto prize worth €245,371 was won in the area.

The National Lottery appealed to Lotto players in Ballymote, Co Sligo to check their tickets after one lucky player scooped Saturday night’s Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize of €245,371. The winning Quick Pick ticket worth €245,371 was sold on Saturday at the SuperValu store on Lord Edward St in Ballymote, Co Sligo.Last night’s Lotto draw produced over 87,000 prize winners.A National Lottery spokesperson said: “One lucky ticketholder in Co Sligo is waking up nearly a quarter of a million euro richer this morning.
