One of the biggest measures in place is the rule surrounding the 5km travel limit which while being enforced certainly has a number of exceptions

The country is now hitting its third week under strict Level Five restrictions in a bid to stop further spread of the coronavirus.

Naturally that can lead to a lot of confusion about what you can and cannot do and with Gardai cracking down on restrictions more than ever it can be difficult to know where you stand.Can I go hike on a mountain 12km from my home?Can I go to a takeaway 7km away if it's the closest one? This includes people who work in essential retail, and take away food stores. It also pertains to people who work in essential childcare services that are currently open as well as construction workers on specific sites that remain open.
