There is set to be no pension hikes and no welfare increases

Some of the big news set to come from today’s budget has already been leaked in advance of the announcement.

While it is understood by the Irish Mirror that €10million will be put aside by Paschal Donohoe to extend the free medical services to more of the elderly.

Pensioners are not expected to receive a €5 boost in tomorrow’s Budget as the Government focuses attention on helping families who are struggling with the cost of living.
