We’re now one week into Level Five – a set of national coronavirus restrictions that have sent the country back into almost total lockdown.
And on that front it looks like there’s been a slight improvement, with two consecutive days of reductions. But latest figures have shown that this figure – another key indicator for health experts – had fallen to 299.02.4. Worst-hit counties showing signs of improvement A week on that figure has fallen by 244.2 – a marked improvement for a country on the brink of disaster a week ago.
These figures could change, of course, but for now there are signs that Level Five is having an impact on the number of people we interact with – thereby reducing the scope for transmission.By Ferghal BlaneyAnd there will be special “school teams” sent out by the Government to make sure schools are safe for everybody.
