Unless you have it in writing from the man it’s a disgrace to dig up his remains which may not be his wishes to score political points and put on a show for the centenary. he was gone 37 years and I’m sure he would have noted it,if he wanted to.

Might be important to note that Joyce in fact refused Irish citizenship twice throughout his lifetime. How did these local Sandymount Joyceans come to the conclusion that he wanted to be buried here? Did they meet his spirit in a séance, or was it revealed to them in a dream?
Joyce didn't want to be Ireland when he was alive. What makes them think he'd want to be here dead?
