Issues remain with VAT but Brexit deal in sight

After a turbulent day of negotiations in Brussels and politics in Westminster, it is understood a deal that EU leaders can sign up to tomorrow is now within reach.

"The prime minister gave an update to cabinet on the progress in the ongoing Brexit talks.
