Irish dad-of-three left in wheelchair after unprovoked one-punch attack

An Irish dad-of-three has been left in a wheelchair after suffering a traumatic brain injury in an unprovoked attack.The 43-year-old’s life was changed that night as he was rushed to hospital, where he had an emergency Craniotomy.

“On a Christmas night out with family and friends, Ciarán was the victim of an unprovoked coward punch which resulted in devastating and life changing consequences for him and his family. “He requires around the clock care right now, he cannot be left home alone, he has limited mobility on his left side of his body. He cannot use his left arm or hand, he has intense pain on that side of the body. He is learning to walk again, learning to do so many things all over again.
