Investigation ongoing after six men seen exiting truck

It's understood at least six people left the truck in Newtownmountkennedy at about 10.50am, sometime after the vehicle had arrived at Rosslare Europort.

The truck was making a delivery in a business park in Newtownmountkennedy when the men were seen getting out and leaving the area. A garda investigation was immediately launched but it's understood none of those involved have yet been located. A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said it was an ongoing investigation and that possible immigration offences are being examined as part of the inquiry.
