List your options, ‘Is there anything I can do right now about this worry?’ “But if it’s not something you can do something about, I suppose let the worry go and focus on something else.”“Our routines may have to change in the next few weeks, so how can we change them maybe in a slight, gradual way and to think about the basics of sleep, exercise, diet, screen time - maybe not overexposing yourself to the news if that’s making you anxious - and just becoming aware of how you’re feeling inside.
“And giving yourself some kindness about how you’re feeling inside because it’s okay… And I think if you’re struggling, talk to someone about that.[and] sitting right next to someone.
