She began taking classes at an early age, but stepped away from the career and became an actor in 2013. During her teen years, Jacqui took acting lessons from Peter Kalos at the renowned Melbourne Actors Lab. She initially auditioned to play Mackenzie, another Summer Bay resident, but eventually landed the role of Felicity Newman.
