Speaking on Tuesday, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar announced a number of changes that will be made due to the spread of Covid-19.

The Government has since released a list of the essential outlets, meaning that anything not included on the list is expected to close until 19 April at the earliest.Retail and wholesale of food, beverages and newspapers in non-specialised and specialised stores. Retailers involved in the repair of motor vehicles, motorcycles and bicycle repair and related facilities.
