Some 62% of Covid-19 deaths in Ireland relate to care homes, report saysAuthors say comparisons between countries prove difficult due to differences in recording of deaths Because staff were not afforded PPE till recently. One would hope that all Care Homes have at least applied social distancing between family visitors and the person residing in the home, if not limit or control visitors who have been tested. Anything more casual is madness! They're 'maximum security' & deadly environments for their residents. Imagine fresh air (windows) is an alien substance. Any airconditioning systems would be a health risk as well.

We should follow Italy, Spain and the of Europe annetted1234 Won’t gatherings just get pushed underground like when prohibition happened? Then when the virus still doesn’t spread what will be the justification for keeping business like this shut? Still think the government is protecting your health? More scaremongering from media. Why not give a balanced view. Pubs will adjust their business in line with guidelines. By all means report on facts during or after but assumptions are just that assumptions. A New Ireland: Viral impact of CatholicismBook review: Niall O’Dowd’s answers US friends asking what happened to Catholic Ireland I found the book incredibly poorly written, and an absolute disaster when it comes to storytelling. The structure of the first 1/2 borders on nonsensical, while O'Dowd over-relies on pages of other's words and his own publications. Would NOT recommend.
