The move comes amid growing concern regarding the spread of Covid-19 through house parties

Tonight, Taoiseach Micheal Martin extended phase three until August 10.

The number of people allowed to visit an individual home has been reduced to 10, from no more than four different households. The extension of phase three means that facilities such as theatres, cinemas and galleries will now be largely unable to reopen.
