Gardai hit out after 'bored' teen meant to be self-isolating caught socialising despite pending Covid-19 test

The boy, who socialized with four other people, was advised to stay indoors due to a pending Covid-19 test.Gardai have now pleaded with parents to "step up to the mark" following the incident."One, who was supposed to be self-isolating pending a COVID 19 test but was bored and decided to join his friends. One of these youths suffered a severe asthma attack.

"This action put the safety of the Emergency Services, and continued service to the public, at risk. Parents - step up to the mark.So far, four people have died in Ireland due to coronavirus. The disease has infected 906 people in the Republic of Ireland, according to the latest figures released on Sunday.
