Vicious armed thugs hold man at knifepoint in Mayo pub burglary

A Garda hunt is underway to find a pair of vicious armed young thugs who stormed a pub in a quiet west of Ireland village this week.

The two young thieves burst into Keane's pub in the small village of Aughagower a couple of kilometres outside Westport in Mayo on Tuesday evening demanding money from the owner of the house. Despite the pub part of the premises being closed for several weeks now, the gang held the occupant at knifepoint and demanded money from the tills.Thankfully the owner of the pub was not physically harmed in the ordeal.

A garda spokesman told The Irish Daily Mirror that no arrests have been made to date and investigations are ongoing.
