Last week, we got definitive proof of what common sense had long suggested but official policy tried to deny. Ireland managed almost to eliminate the coronavirus in the first lockdown. But it lost the benefits of that triumph because it allowed new variants to come in from abroad. Also last week, we got the news that 2,000 people arrived in Ireland from Brazil, where a dangerous new variant is raging, over a 28-day period in January and February.
Irish People deserve better than this SHOWER OF POLTICIANS. Get rid of THIS SHOWER!

Israel still have a rolling ave of around 4,500 cases per day. The population is double what is in Ire & this equates to around 2,250 cases here. Israelis are forbidden to leave & they have not allowed non Israelis into the country since last March. Yet they still have C19.

He's not wrong. I live abroad and was planning on moving back home in January; wouldn't have minded quarantine at all. But a combination of idiots throwing parties and (perennial) Govt mismanagement means I'm going to be set back another 6+ months. Well done, lads. Great work.
