Simon Cowell was blasted by X Factor: Celebrity viewers tonight after he chose to save Vinnie Jones - despite the former footballer pleading to leave.After Vinnie performed a version of Galway Shawl, he told Simon, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger that he had had a "fantastic time" but that he wanted to leave.However Simon insisted that he still wanted to make the final decision and decided to save Kevin.
Earlier, Vinnie also admitted that he wanted to leave the show because he had a golf competition coming up.One tweeted: "A compete sham! @SimonCowell should of let @VinnieJones65 go with dignity after that gorgeous song from the heart! I respect Vinnie but he’s no singer #CelebrityXFactor #vinniejones."
