British television has been forced to adapt quickly amid the coronavirus pandemic, however one tea time staple has struggled to do so - soaps.

Fans of the soaps have taken to social media and fan forums to discuss the impact that the pandemic could have on these television institutions. Alternatively, another felt differently: "The first episode of each one after might be one of, if not the highest rating episode of the show ever, just to see how they deal with it and explain it.
