Professional services organisation EY has announced plans to create 816 new jobs across its seven Irish offices, with 414 experienced hire positions and 402 graduate roles.The jobs will be in consulting, audit, tax, corporate finance, technology, analytics, cyber security, law, economics and sustainability among other areas and more than one in four of the roles will be based outside of Dublin.The announcement will bring the headcount in EY to over 4,200 across the island of Ireland.
The 414 experienced hire roles will be advertised and filled by the end of EY’s current financial year on 30 June 2022, while a further 402 roles will be filled by university graduates starting this autumn. "It’s always encouraging to see high-value jobs being created for both experienced professionals and the next generation of university graduates alike, and it’s a testament to the skills and talent available here in Ireland and a welcome endorsement of Ireland’s attractiveness as a place to invest and grow," he said.
