The Young Offenders viewers 'howling' with laughter as season 2 returns on RTE

The highly-anticipated second season, which was co-produced by BBC, returned to RTE 2.

The show follows the lovable Cork duo Conor and Jock - who is a dad-to-be after girlfriend Siobhan became pregnant at the end of season one. Irish writer Paul Howard took to Twitter after the episode, and said: "Loved the new Young Offenders tonight." "Cement it up there with Father Ted and Derry Girls in the league of beloved Irish TV shows. It’s going nowhere.""Cork's finest, boy. And a cameo from Roy Keane! Great Irish comedy."
