Norma Foley needs to step down she’s out of her depth

So we should expect that around 6pm on Wednesday evening then.

RTE IS FAKE NEWS

So when it's decided they're not opening you've people on here whinging and complaining and when they decide they will reopen you have people on here whinging and complaining. Tough crowd!

Rubbish....we are all at high risk from this ever changing virus.

Norma Foley is well and truly out her depth, my area is one of the highest incidence rates in the country! Not a snowflakes chance in hell am I I allowing my kids back, especially with special needs. They're not Guinea pigs.

No return to schools without vaccination or lower case numbers. Set a target that has to be reached. Give it another fortnight at least. If its not safe for a staff member to meet their mother or their sister how can they pretend it’s safe!

Schools are due to open in 2 days. All advjce and guidance that are needed should already be given long before this! Schools need time to prepare!

If its based on data from 2020 its not of much benefit when we are facing into a different scenario UKVariant

In the coming days lol....Translation = In the next 6-9 weeks pending further review after that.

Coming days? Like after they open maybe? How slow does the civil service work?

Dept of education & especially the minister Norma Foley out of their depth. Disgraceful.

It would want to be better than the hour of rubbish we are after sitting through.

So are they abiding by ECDC recent Nov 2020 definition of close contact Also pesky issue of there being 20 times virus in the community than before Christmas (CMO last week)

Coming days? They are due back in two days!! The department of education are not fit for purpose.
